Salvus
Salvus, Latin for “safe”, is a sensory friendly dining experience. The staff is trained to handle a wide variety of disabilities, including autism, anxiety, sensory processing disorder, and more. The menu is designed with checkboxes, so guests can check off their drink, entree, side, and any side sauces. Another unique thing about our menu is that the guest can check off what textures bother them or any allergies, so we can avoid it when preparing their meal. Our goal is to create a safe place for all people with disabilities. I chose a blue color scheme as well as created alcohol ink paintings to use throughout to emit a soothing and calm feeling.
